In regards to East Coast Helicopter I have always felt you get what you pay for and in their case I would have to say they are the East Coast Guru's of the Bell 47 . We also heard very positive comments about East Coast from Jay Mundis and the chief helicopter guru himself Tommy Sullivan. All in all I would have no problem recommending anyone to East Coast Helicopter for problems or service relating to the Bell 47.

Hello Joey,
I have been in business for many years dealing with thousands of customers and untold numbers of suppliers. Due to my extensive experience I truly believe I have seen it all but, in a recent purchase of parts for my Bell 47G2 from Bob Harness of Texas Helogistics, service has reached a new high. Bob and his family went far out of their way to see that I was fully satisfied with their product. Rarely have I seen a supplier react with this level of professionalism. The worldwide community of Bell 47 people certainly has its share of people looking for a chance to take advantage of your need for parts and we all hear lots of bad press about them. But how about some good press for people like the Harness family? In the future, when I need parts for my Bell 47, I will certainly call Bob first and I sincerely hope that others do likewise. Thanks, Bob, for outstanding service!

A Los Angeles, CA vicinity Flight School & CFI/Mechanic.
Three complaints/reports have been received to date by our Western Director. The reports appear to be consistent and are aligned with allegations that the owner is verbally abusive to his students, cocky, abrasive, arrogant, vulgar, aggressive, and failed to show up on time for flight training.
President Rhodes notes that he and VP Rodriguez have personally met the instructor over the years, who eagerly attended B47HA sponsored fly in events, and has attempted to be cordial. Rhodes has invited him numerous times to become a member, but the instructor is adamant that he does not support B47HA and is otherwise not interested in our association. Rhodes states that is the instructor's privilege and further stated that B47HA still would like to see the man encouraged towards a more productive path. Rhodes also noted that B47HA has not heard from the instructor and would not publish any names or boycott the school in fairness to the instructor.
Information is on file with our West Coast Director Danny Rodriguez and two investigators have been assigned.
Interested parties interested in obtaining flight instruction and maintenance in CA are encouraged to use only B47HA instructors and mechanics that abide by our code of conduct and civility.
Be governed accordingly.
