INVESTIGATIONS
DIRECTORY
It is the purpose of The Bell 47 Helicopter Association (B47HA) to protect the legacy and future of the Bell 47 helicopter. This mission encompasses parts, maintenance, sales, flight operations, and training. B47HA will use their massive resources to aid in the mission goal and protect owners and operators from unethical practices. To accomplish such a goal requires networking investigators and appropriate law enforcement agencies. It also requires educating consumers to beware of various illegal activities and operations. B47HA investigators gather facts and data to allow vendors and customers to communicate more effectively.
B47HA also utilizes many different domestic and foreign law enforcement agencies in an effort to determine the scale of operational violations.
With the aid of legal counsel and tech support provided by Bell Helicopter Textron, B47HA has provided a sounding board to prevent infringement upon BHT copyrights and patents. B47HA has successfully recovered vast amounts of cash and parts for our members who have filed legitimate complaints. The effectiveness of our association's voice and singular agenda has made B47HA a lighthouse to the reputation of the Bell 47 and a formidable crusader against deceptive practices.

When a member feels that they have suffered at the hands of a vendor they have the resource to involve B47HA to address the issue as an advocate. The first step is to file a complaint. This can be done by simply sending a e-mail or calling our offices. Within 48 hours an investigator will respond and full contact info and pertinent facts will be gather from both sides. Sometime, vendors may not wish to respond. This is usually resolved by posting the complaint as a consumer report on our website under vendor reviews. Eventually, the vendor will respond appropriately. When this happens B47HA's role changes from advocate to arbitrator to help resolve the issue at hand.
The fact of matter is rather simple people who do wrong do not want their deeds illuminated. B47HA promotes good vendors and educates their specific Bell 47 audience about dissatisfied customers.

Case #002- #003 - #004 - #005 - #006
Closed cases ranged from Bogus parts, stolen serial #, improper maintenance diagnosis, overdue delivery of promised parts, improperly detained or illegal impoundment of aircraft, to improper billing complaints.
Be advised a closed case sometimes doesn't mean the case was ruled on. Many times cases are referred from B47HA to federal jurisdiction for further action and we do not comment due to impending litigation or prosecution.
Due to numerous complaints a maintenance advisory in effect for three states. Contact B47HA for further instructions.
B47HA is currently interviewing members with documented law enforcement experience &/or Bell 47 IA/AP/CFI/CFII/COM experience for investigator positions. Investigators names are not published due to ongoing and open investigation and surveillance. The position is strictly pro-bono.
